Love is not enough II

November 10, 2009 in featured, poetry

In times of darkness in the night

Love is not enough to provide a light on this room of obscurity

This shadow behind me saturates my being

Imprisoning my sorrow and torturing consciousness

In times of silence in the night

Love is not enough to create noises and liveliness

This quite night is torturing my sanity

Generating a sound from bewildering world

In times of desire for passionate night

Love is not enough to touch my needs and covetousness

This lust I have to your body

Blowing up my purity and modesty

In times of fear to unexplained things

Love is not enough to intricate the confusions

This dreadful threat I have inside

Shaking my senses and triggering my memories

Love is not enough to give comfort in the darkness

To say “I love you” is not sufficient

But to make love in every confusing night

Could be enough to tear down all these fears of mine
