How to look young..

November 17, 2012 in featured, journal, poetry

I always make people surprise when they ask my age. Oh yeah! They never believe that I am old and having three children. And the funny thing is when they ask my secret to keep my look.. hahaha!

Well let me tell you something. It is my personalities that keeping me look young. I don’t take things seriously. I mean I let everything happens according to my tempo and will. And I honestly got old since I move in Denmark.

Why? Because I started to plan things… stress out myself to something as if I always need to reach things. But one thing I realized.. I’m missing some moments in my life that I might regret at the end.

I remember when I was in Philippines it took us three hours to eat dinner. My siblings and I loved to tease my father.. As in, to the max. We enjoy our food; we enjoy each other’s stories and kept us close to each other.

And you know what? That was the moment that I’m keeping it to my heart the reason it is not easy to move on after my father died. It was really a fantastic moment. Simple moment like that will make us happy and live young.

Now my life changed. I eat 10-15 minutes and finish the dishes in 3 minutes. I need to do so much responsibility that I actually could take slowly but I’m doing it quick, for what? For no reason..

Look around Suzette? What are you missing? Missing some moments…   Missing special memories that you can live for the rest of your life…  Think about it! Its nice to look young…..

HAMOG

Sa bawat haplos ng gabi
Nabubulahaw sa lamig ng hamog
Di mapakali o di makakilos
Bawat kasukasuhan ay nanakit
Tila’y  pagod sa pakikisama sa mundong may hamog

Sana sa bawat gabi
ay muling makasama ka O aking Ama
Inaasam ang inyong payo
At malumalam na pakiusap
Na kakayanin ko pa
… at “Suzette wag kangg titigil
Sa pakikibaka sa hamog ng buhay”
