Now that my Mommy is in Denmark, it gives a little spice on my daily life. She is having a hard time to manage the climate, which means she doesn’t know to cope up with the -6 degrees weather.

Yea, my dear friends, she is actually wearing summer clothes at daytime. She complains when she need to take loads of clothes just to buy bread and milk. She will constantly tell you “In Philippines I just need my slippers and I can do whatever I want!”

I am always looking forward to come home from work, to get pleasure from my Mommy’s food and caress after work. I could take a nap and have a good snack afterwards.

Today we made an agreement that we would take a little walk to the city but because of the weather she changed her mind and told me to do it tomorrow instead. And of course the only reason is the —– weather.

She told me that, It took ages to get clothes on, so she rather stay at home and to do all things one time; like doing groceries stuffs and other practical things (sshhh and car wash), one time;  And that will be tomorrow. She is hoping that the weather will better the next day so she could enjoy “Denmark” and her vacation to my place.

It brought me to a thought today.

I was one day had a talk to an old lady, who cried and losing her hope on this earth, I told her “Don’t lose your hope my friend, life is like this.. look around.. like this weather.. today is snowy and dark; but after sometime, sun is coming and will lighten up our daily lives, (Spring and summer) to give us energy and good feelings. Lets just look forward for the that moment while we are lingering on this sadness.” Then she looked at me and said. “Yea, it makes sense” – she said.

Friends, we are all having hard time in life. We have downfalls, frustrations and hardship. But lets not focus on it. Let us focus on how we can get over this hard times and look forward for the brighter side..

Just like my mom.. she’s hoping that tomorrow will be a better weather…
